This Privacy Policy sets out how Plug and Play uses and protects any information that we hold on you, either from using the website or engaging with Plug and Play offline. We’ve updated our Privacy Policy to update the changes in the Data Protection laws.

Prospective Clients

If you contact Plug and Play by email, telephone or by completing the contact form on our website we will store the personal information you provide, which may contain:

  • Personal Email Address
  • Work landline telephone number
  • Personal landline telephone number
  • Work mobile telephone number

We hold this data in our CRM. The data is encrypted and restricted to a small number of Plug and Play staff who have password protected CRM accounts and devices. Data may also be held in our staff email accounts, which are password protected and encrypted.

Your personal data will be held for 2 years following your last contact with us. We store this data for 2 years because sometimes prospective clients reengage with us. After 2 years, personal data is deleted from our CRM.

If you were a Prospective Client of Plug and Play’s, you may contact us to find out what information we hold about you. Please email us at info@plugandplaydesign.co.uk with the email subject ‘Subject Access Request.’ Someone at Plug and Play will reply with full details within 2 working days. Following this, you can then request for the information we hold on you to be rectified or deleted.

Prospective Employees and Contract Workers

If you, or an agency you have engaged with, sends Plug and Play your CV and other personal details in either a speculative job application or by applying to a job advert on our website or other online portal we will store the following information:

  • Name
  • CV Details
  • Work Experience
  • Qualifications
  • Education
  • Contact Details

If a recruitment agency sends Plug and Play your CV either in a speculative application or because we’ve engaged the agency to assist with our recruitment, the data is stored in Cloud Document storage and emails. Both are encrypted and password protected.

The information may also be held in an online recruitment platform, for which our account is password protected.

If you are unsuccessful in your application, the data will be held for 2 years after your application is submitted to give you the opportunity of being considered for future positions. After 2 years your data shall be deleted.

Prospective Suppliers

If you contact Plug and Play by email, telephone or by filling in the contact form on our website or you undertake other online or offline marketing activity such as the supply of a business card with the intention of seeking to expand your network for example to ask if we are interested in using your services, we will store the following information about you as an employee of the Prospective Supplier:

  • Work email address
  • Personal email address
  • Work landline telephone number
  • Personal landline telephone number
  • Work mobile telephone number
  • Personal mobile telephone number

We hold this information in Cloud Document storage and emails that are encrypted and password protected.

The data will be held for 2 years after you send your information to Plug and Play. We store the data for 2 years because we may review prospective supplier information when procuring a new product or service.

What we do with your data

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

The data we hold on you may be sent out of the EU to any of our processors who are software vendors based in North America, South America, Asia and Australasia.
